Join the General Mills Enterprise Integration Technologies team in delivering world-class Managed File Transfer (MFT), Application to Application (A2A) and Business to Business (B2B) integration solutions. This role will work in a fast-paced environment as a member of a exceptional team with global accountability, working with a variety of business-critical systems and technologies that enable the delivery of value to the business through this integration.

The Enterprise Integration Engineer will allow candidates to build breadth and depth of experience while gaining strong technical skills.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and support file transfer and enterprise integration solutions for General Mills globally. Educate clients on the capabilities and standards we use to deliver MFT solutions. Understand client needs and business processes, build/script solutions to meet their needs, and interface with external partners to configure connections.

  • Grow into role as technical expert and systems owner for AS2 communication and MFT platforms. Perform administration, support and maintenance, and technical leadership during upgrades. Ensure the health, performance, and 247 availability of the platforms. Monitor operational health and tune platforms for optimal performance.

  • Lead maturation of global MFT administration and support processes

  • Consult and recommend MFT solutions during various phases of a project

  • Research and implement new MFT / integration technologies and strategies

  • Minimum education: Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years' experience with MFT and/or AS2 administration

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of EDI standards, XML, and Flat File integration

  • Familiarity / understanding of IT infrastructure (server, network, storage, database)

  • Experience administering high-availability, business-critical systems

  • Scripting experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on root cause analysis and continuous improvement

Position Summary Sustainment Framework Position. Drives strategic integration and alignment of processes, data, and systems that impact multiple business and/or functional areas. Responsible for defining solution strategy and design principles, and ensuring the alignment between the business needs and technical solutions. Provides functional and technical support for all future SAP deployments and other continuous improvement projects. Balances the needs/requirements of multiple organizational entities in facilitating demand management and prioritization. Essential Responsibilities * Business Integration: Serves as the enterprise owner for processes, data, reports, and/or applications within a designated high-complexity area. Is a key liaison to business areas. Ensures technical solutions maintain design integrity, adhere to functional designs, and meet business needs.
