Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience in a customer-facing role.

  • 5 years of experience leading a technical team in a cloud computing environment, or within a professional services, solutions architect or systems engineering team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science.

  • Experience in infrastructure, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure deployment patterns.

  • Experience with software defined networking, networking as a service, and cloud networking design patterns.

  • Experience serving as a pre-sales, field engineering manager or customer-facing field engineer.

  • Knowledge of Big Data, PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, public cloud, and related industry and technical concepts.

  • Ability to craft a compelling message, tailor it for a given audience, and deliver a story.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage Content Delivery Network (CDN) or Web Application Firewall (WAF).

  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand potential technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.

  • Support technical relationships with clients and partners, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partner with product management to prioritize solutions impacting adoption of Google Cloud.

  • Demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.

  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement a complete solution.
