Job Summary

Note: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B visa status).

The person will work on FileNet/P8 and related document capture services like Kofax for new applications on Linux/Unix and Windows Operating Systems. The individual will need to translate user defined requirements into system/product instructions. The responsibilities include implementation of agreed upon solutions that meet business needs, provide subject matter expertise in assigned projects through all phases of the development lifecycle, respond independently to client inquiries and resolving issues and also perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with more experienced technology specialists to understand system/product requirements and implements the agreed upon solutions as well as adequately documenting the procedures.

  • Maintaining and enhancing systems infrastructure components and services to ensure that infrastructure is in vendor supported and standards compliant state.

  • Troubleshoot production problems, review trace and system log and work with application development teams to resolve issues and open Problem Management Records (PMR) and ServiceNow Incident Tickets.

  • Regularly monitors systems to ensure application is meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics. Update/modify monitoring thresholds as necessary.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent field of study

  • Certification in FileNet P8 5.x administration is preferred

  • 3+ years' hands-on working experience in systems administration

  • 2+ years' experience working in Red Hat and SuSE Linux platforms

  • 1+ years' experience in each of the following:

  • Scripting using Shell scripting

  • Atlassian suite managing products

  • FileNet/P8 (Content Engine, Process Engine, and Application Engine) and Kofax

  • Configuration and support of existing IBM FileNet P8 V5.2.x environment

  • Experience with the integration of IBM FileNet P8 with in-house custom developed applications

  • Knowledge in deployment and configuration of web applications on at least one leading J2EE Application Server WebSphere/JBoss/Tomcat

  • Knowledge to administer and maintain the Kofax Transformation Module (KTM)

  • Experience in configuring Kofax Batches and upgrade and configure Kofax Import Connector (2.6.x)

  • Bash Scripting (Including FTP, SCP, and CRON)

  • Knowledge in Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificates for data encryption and client authentication

  • Understanding and use of version control system such as Git

  • Flexibility with being on-call and working evenings and weekends as may be required in response to the needs of the system

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting

Summary: Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) is one of two business units within the Signal & Power Solutions segment; the NA region represents approximately $2.6B of total Aptiv revenue. The Strategic Business Planning Manager reports directly to the NA VP/Managing Director. The position may be located in Troy, MI at the Troy Technical Center or in Juarez, Mexico at the Mexico Technical Center. This key position will help to set the regional strategy and will coordinate weekly activities within the cross-functional staff to help achieve divisional goals. Responsibilities: Business Planning: * Provide weekly regional updates- collect updates and weekly metrics from Commercial, Finance, Operations, Material, Program Management, HR; weekly report out to Finance. * Coordinate weekly staff meetings - manage agenda, distribute note/action items * Create regional presentations for quarterly communications meetings, regional business unit overviews, business reviews with top leadership, etc. * Coordinate monthly performance tracking reviews - develop templates, consolidate packages for margin improvement, Monthly Business Reviews * Consolidate regional content for monthly CEO memo * Special assignments and ad hoc requests (i.e. CPV analysis, data validation, etc.) * Audit Responsibilities: * Serve as management representative for site audits * Assist in coordinating internal/external IATF 16949 audits, collaborate with Customer Satisfaction/EOS manager & local ECG group, manage site communication, assist in site success, facilitate payment to external vendor. * Responsible for EDS Management Review during audit * Understand IATF and Aptiv requirements for management review, consolidate and update inputs for management review and participate in audits.
