A career in our Digital and Applications Design practice, within Application and Emerging Technology services, will provide you with a unique opportunity to help our clients identify and prioritise emerging technologies that can help solve their business problems. We help our clients design approaches to integrate new technologies, skills, and processes so they can get the most out of their technology investment and drive business results and innovation. Our team helps organisations align their business and operational requirements through the careful design of digital platforms and applications. You'll help our clients with application optimisation, strategic integration of custom packaged solutions like Enterprise Resource Planning and Customer Relationship Management, and roadmap development.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Train and lead staff

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge? in areas of IT Strategy, Enterprise/Digital Architecture, Business Analysis, Solutions Architecture or Technical Program Management.

Knowledge in at least one EA area: business architecture, information architecture, software architecture, solution architecture, infrastructure architecture.

?Knowledge of cost and business value modeling, including ROI analyses.

Knowledge of the application of architecture patterns to application development.

Knowledge and understanding of technology trends and concepts through work experience and interest in the latest innovation and thought leadership (e.g., Agile/ Scrum, Cloud Platform Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps, Digital Enterprise, Mobile Platforms, Data Analytics).

Knowledge ?of industry operations, trends, and domain knowledge in one or more industries (Technology, Media/Cable, Telecom, Retail, Financial Services).

Experience on tools such as Troux, ARIS, Sparx Enterprise Architect and Apptio.

Previous work on ?Enterprise Architecture consulting and ?modeling using frameworks such as UML, RUP, Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN).

Future project locations will vary. The candidate for this role will be expected to travel 75%+ depending on need of client. The candidate for this role will be a seasoned Enterprise Architect, with a background in the various technologies and stacks (MS & Oracle), web services / SOA and ESBs, Health Plan business model and common processes/practices to work as both an advisor and lead designer on major delivery programs focused on transforming the technology solution ecosystem for Health Plan clients. Role Responsibilities * Acts as a Lead Architect responsible for overall system architecture and design * Ensures that systems are built for change, scalable, reusable, and maintainable * Develops complex and innovative solutions to business problems * Coordinates with team members for peer and customer reviews of system architecture * Works in conjunction with Program or Delivery Manager to size, manage scope and risk * Leads and mentors the project delivery team during design, construction and testing of the project * Analyze and evaluate customer business and technical requirements * Plays a key role in managing and executing technology solutions that deliver client value and lasting business impact * Manages the overall key design areas of the system Requirements * Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent * 10+ years of relevant and progressive IT experience * 8-10 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect * 4 - 5 years Health Plan experience This position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
