As the Enterprise Architect, you would be responsible for designing and building the various underlying systems and frameworks necessary for enterprise applications to run in a stable, scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant environment. Working in conjunction with a Business Analyst and Network Architect the candidate would be performing the following duties:
Virtualization strategy, including:
Overall Virtualization design to meet project requirements
Fail-over and fault tolerance design
Load balancing strategy
Storage design for sizing, speed, and fault-tolerance.
Server hardware design and architecture with either Cisco UCS/HyperFlex and/or HP Simplivity.
Microsoft Windows Architecture
Active Directory domain design and structure
Patching and Update strategies
Backup and Recovery design
Working with a Business Analyst to architect an environment for each application that meets the required reliability, performance, and any regulatory requirements.
Working with a Network Architect to define and architect a solution for various lower-level infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc.
Creation of documentation, procedures, and processes that enables the environment to be easily maintained and replicated for additional "locations" as required.
Ideally this candidate would have a previous background in:
Maritime industries, including cruise ships.
Familiarity and previous experience with various maritime industry requirements and standards such as SOLAS and MARSEC, as well as familiarity with various industry groups and classification societies like DNV, IMO, etc.
