Overview:

Based in Northern, VA, Axiologic Solutions LLC has opportunities for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. We are currently seeking an Enterprise and Systems Architect and Task Order Lead to support our client by assisting the government with enterprise planning, strategy, enterprise architecture, and governance functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage/ Lead the Task Order (TO) resources and provide oversight and strategic direction in the development of Enterprise and Systems Architecture practices, principles, documentation, new methods/ technology implementation and governance support.

  • Provide subject matter expert (SME) knowledge in Information Technology (IT) systems architectures (virtual and physical server infrastructure, networking, cloud, infrastructure, collaboration, etc.).

  • Perform engineering and planning functions.

  • Interact in collaborative rapid feedback environment to deliver process improvements to the end user.

  • Ability to understand and translate technical jargon to mission-users.

  • Collaborate with Cross Agency groups on various technological initiatives.

  • Support the organization modernization and architecture compliance efforts that drive system modernization, cloud migration and security enhancements.

  • Assist in strategic planning, guidance, programmatic review and validation of enterprise IT enclaves and suites.

  • Document and present recommendations to simplify existing architecture and exploit new architecture, where appropriate, to achieve greater efficiency within mission and business operations.

  • Evaluate technical proposals for investment into new technical capabilities across the agency enterprise.

  • Remain aware of market changes affecting industry which could be leveraged across the agency.

  • Interact with technical personnel in a variety of grades to facilitate development of Enterprise Architecture artifacts, standards, and governance.

  • Attend briefings, to brief and engage in technical exchanges at briefs.

  • Engage routinely with internal and external stakeholders, to include other CIO divisions and mission critical/ mission essential information system owners.

  • Participate in technical exchanges, and support briefings to senior leadership to facilitate the development of the enterprise architecture, artifacts, standards, and governance.

  • Assist in streamlining Machine Learning (ML) DevOps for efficiencies across the Enterprise.

  • Provide recommendations to the customer on emerging trends associated with Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ML

  • Demonstrate the ability to Roadmap activities for the agency.

  • Support Program Management Office business rhythms, representing the Task Order and manage Task Order contract deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an active/current TS/SCI and ability to pass CI Poly.

  • At Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or experience.

  • Strong architecture background.

  • Strong engineering background.

  • Demonstrated Consulting Skills.

  • Have excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

  • Communicate formally and informally through existing forums to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.

  • An innovator -- Comes up with ideas and can articulate the idea to the team.

  • Ability to work with limited information and expand on it with the idea of how it can be implemented into the Enterprise.

  • Desire experience with instrumentation of architectures frameworks processes, and software suites such as DoDAF, ServiceNow, Microsoft Visio, and TBM.

  • Ability to work comfortably with mid- and senior-level civilian/military personnel.

  • Ability to work independently, demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and support tasks as assigned by leadership.

  • Detail oriented, strong analysis and organizational skills, forward-thinking skills to anticipate and proactively provide recommendations to customers and team.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

  • Strong public speaking skills required.

  • Ability to create original documentation.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel may be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.

Level of Responsibility:

Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs. The additional Task Order Lead duties consist of managing the work and resources to implement the Task Order Statement of Work.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Customarily and regularly directs the work of full-time team members in support of client's projects and tasks.

Reporting Chain:

This position reports directly to Axiologic Solutions' assigned Deputy Program Director.

Level of Supervision Required:

The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others and interpret policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment.

  • Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent basis.

  • This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week on site, Monday through Friday, within the contract hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
