We're looking for an Enterprise Account Director to join our Consumer team and help initiate and grow some of our most strategic US relationships with Fortune 500 companies in consumer packaged goods, retail, food and beverage, healthcare, industrial. This role is based from New York, NY.

  • Formulate and lead appropriate account teams and technical resources to execute on a well-defined, collaborative pursuit strategy to acquire target prospects and orchestrate internal and external resources to close the sale

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and coordinate and drive the development of sales proposals

  • Maintain and build rapport with senior executives to formulate strong, long term business relationships built on trust

  • Lead negotiation of prices and contracts, and understands legal ramification of contracts

  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the GA's product and service offering, pricing structure, contract management parameters, policies and procedures

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline according to targets, and provides clear and accurate reporting of sales outcomes and activities

  • Develop and grow existing account relationships by deeply understanding how GA can partner best with our clients on an ongoing basis

The ideal candidate for this role would have:

  • 6+ years of management consulting, ad agency or enterprise sales experience

  • A strong command of the digital ecosystem

  • Ability to manage complex and lengthy sales cycles

  • Ability to identify client challenges, and develop creative solutions in close collaboration with clients

  • Ability to effectively and persuasively communicate with Fortune 500 decision makers (typically SVP level)

  • A demonstrable track record of high performance

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills

  • Experience creating complex client proposals

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and practice: you enjoy working as part of a small team, rapidly iterating on strategy, and getting your hands dirty to build something great

The Role The Director, Vault Regulatory, Consumer Product Goods (CPG) role requires a deep understanding of the regulatory information management space within CPG and how products are brought to market and registered globally. This role will be responsible for growing Veeva's Regulatory market share in the CPG market with our Vault Regulatory Suite, including the Registrations, Submissions, Publishing, and Submissions Archive software applications. Execution requires the individual provide thought leadership and sales support to teams in the field, lead the development of product strategy and messaging, and coordinate resources across the customer lifecycle from sales to delivery and beyond. The Vault Regulatory Director will also be responsible for presenting at industry conferences, leading webinars and authoring articles for industry publications. In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to work with a team of industry and technology A-players, who, together, are bringing the next generation of regulated information management capabilities to the CPG, Chemical and Life Sciences industries. Responsibilities * Independently support the Vault sales team on Vault Regulatory opportunities within CPG. * Ensure prospect challenges are well understood and that win themes are defined at the outset of an opportunity. * Collaborate with Professional Services to ensure the development of an appropriate overall solution and delivery timeframe. * Collaborate with Product Management to define and prioritize key features needed to enhance the existing Vault Regulatory Suite to support CPG business needs. * Collaborate with Sales Consulting to ensure that demos address customer business process needs. * Collaborate with Marketing to define go-to-market messaging, engagement tactics and to establish and maintain an intriguing online presence. * Provide thought leadership by participating in industry special interest groups, speaking at industry events and authoring blog entries, whitepapers and press articles. Requirements * Min of 5+ years experience working within the regulatory area of a consumer product goods company * 2+ years experience working for a regulatory consulting or software company * Experience with regulatory submission document authoring, submission publishing / validation / viewing, and registration management processes and technologies * Experience selling software or services to life sciences organizations * Proven ability to innovate across business processes or solutions * Proven track record of thought leadership through industry presentations, publications or other mechanisms * Experience with medical devices a plus About Veeva Veeva Systems is a leader in cloud-based software for the global life sciences industry.
