Qualifications:

1.Associate's Degree preferred

2.A minimum of one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

3.Strong, administrative skills,

4.The ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision,

5.Experience with independent projects and tasks.

6.Data management skills,

7.Strong analytical, communication, and human relations skills.

8.Must have working knowledge of basic math applications and computation skills

9.Must be detail-oriented with the ability to keep accurate records and reports

  3. Knowledge of:


a. Nutritional and Operational requirements of the National School Lunch Program and other related federal and state regulations including, but not limited to, the evaluation of applications for free/reduced price meals.

b. Principles and practices of budget preparation and administration, principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation.

c. Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations including health and safety rules and regulations pertaining to food establishments, including sanitation and maintenance regulations.

Reports To: The Business Administrator

Responsibilities:

1.Serve as primary contact/registrar for district personnel and parents in the process of registering and transferring students, including Kindergarten and Preschool students;

2.Organize and perform admissions, registration, and student records functions. Reviews and compiles student admission records and related documents;

3.Reviews and processes student records and/or documents; reviews and/or updates student credentials needed for admissions status, including IEPS and ESL; monitors progress of enrollees and transferees;

4.Provides administrative support, which may include scheduling meetings, maintaining various office files, initiating and drafting correspondence, and other related duties;

5.Meets with newly enrolled students and parents in person or on the phone to review forms and explain the enrollment and planning process;

6.Assists in collecting all required documentation by responding to specific questions during the form completion process. I will follow up on the missing forms until the file is complete. Will act on all missing forms notices;

7.Efficiently utilize district software, which supports the registration process.

8.Prepare and assist in the collection of data for district and State reports, including but not limited to the monthly ADA/ADM Reports, ASSA Report, Fall Survey Report, Civil Rights Compliance Date Collection Report, Immigrant Report, and School Register Summary Report,

9.Plan, organize, prioritize, and schedule work to meet timelines;

10.Provide support to all schools for State reporting, attendance, and student enrollment;



  1. Maintain contact with other school districts and professional associations for the exchange of information and development of state reports;

12.Communicate and work in conjunction with the district's network technicians to ensure proper ongoing Genesis maintenance;

13.Analyzes data, develops information, and considers available solutions or alternate methods of proceeding. Data and written analysis may vary by department.

14.May assist in preparing written policy recommendations based on results of research and analysis.

15.Assist the Assistant Superintendent in developing formal presentation materials that effectively articulate the planned placement configuration and demonstrate a consistent placement approach.

16.Ensure that students registered are legal residents of Willingboro.

17.Provide equitable treatment and placement of students.

18.Provide a consistent approach for district placement of students.

19.Serve as a liaison between the Board Office, the schools, and transportation for student placement and services.

20.Seeks inquiry into issues involving registration and placement, including the impact from other district departments

21.Ensure that the food service program is a supportive element of the instructional program at WPS.

22.Review, Interpret, monitor, and supervise regulations, policies, and procedures of the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, and Summer Food Service Program.

23.Compile reports for auditing purposes and maintain lunch binders.

24.Ensure the food service areas at each site meet all safety and sanitary inspections for the summer program.

25.Ensure the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are current for each site.

26.Communicate with school personnel and parents/guardians of students regarding matters of lunch benefits.

27.Understands all federal guidelines regarding child eligibility and service provision under the McKinney-Vento Act.

28.Acts as a liaison between schools, shelters, and the community for homeless and highly mobile students.

29.Collaborates with schools and area agencies to identify homeless students.

30.If needed, assist homeless students and families with immediate school enrollment and obtain documents.

31.Ensures that this law mediates enrollment disputes.

32.Assists parents/guardians in motels or doubled-up with food, clothing, and shelter referrals.

33.Ensures public notice of the educational rights of homeless children and youth under the Mckinney-Vento Act is disseminated in locations frequented by parents or guardians, children, youth, and unaccompanied youth, including schools, shelters, public libraries, and soup kitchens, in a manner and form understandable to families.

34.Assumes responsibility for own professional growth, attending appropriate professional meetings and conferences. 35.Performs all other duties that may be assigned.

EVALUATION:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with state law and the provisions of the Board of Education's policy on evaluation of certified staff.
