Duties

Incumbent serves as an Enrollment Officer in The Office of Enrollment Services at the National Intelligence University.

Assists in the evaluation of undergraduate transcripts and makes recommendations regarding students' admission to academic programs in accordance with undergraduate/graduate admission policy standards

The Enrollment Officer will support daily operations within the Office of Enrollment Services, to include communicating with prospective students about eligibility, programs offered, required application materials, academic calendar, and relevant deadlines. In addition, the Officer will use the student information system to track admissions data and student registration.

The Enrollment Officer will also track student attendance, provide accurate and timely transcripts, track student thesis progress, as well as support graduation and orientation functions. The enrollment officer should have documented background in providing outstanding customer service in a diverse environment.

The incumbent will also provide administrative support to students, faculty, and staff located in various instructional sites around the world.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

General knowledge of Enrollment Services functions.

Bachelor's degree in any field.

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including a basic ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment; initiative in carrying out mission responsibilities based on supervisor guidance.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Basic organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ability to work effectively with confidential information.

Ability to assume shared accountability for improving service delivery.

Must be able to competently interact with a culturally and ethnically diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.

Desired Requirements:

Experience using a student database (Jenzabar, blackboard, Canvas, Ellucian Banner, etc.)

Education

Bachelor's degree in any field.
