The Enrollment Management Strategic Projects and Events Specialist will be responsible for the planning, delivery and support of a wide range of high quality, professional in person and online projects and events in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders. They will also advise members of the Cleveland University - Kansas City (CUKC) academic and professional community on how to successfully organize and run their university events via a suite of web-based resources and is expected to play a significant role in hosting a range of external stakeholders, both virtually and in-person. The Enrollment Management Strategic Projects and Events Specialist will deliver a professional, strategic service advancing the mission of the University through wide-ranging collaboration, managing resources, promoting CUKC, and delivering excellence and impact.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Highly organized, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and events with precision.

  • Highly proactive, demonstrating the ability to anticipate needs and act decisively.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining positive professional relationships with stakeholders while effectively holding team members accountable to ensure the successful completion of projects and events.

  • Lead, motivate, and develop strategic Enrollment Management events (in-person and virtual) for high-performance and high-quality customer-focused service and satisfaction.

  • Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budgets).

  • Project manage all aspects of strategic Enrollment Management priorities and events, liaise with CUKC colleagues to ascertain exact event requirements and level of support required.

  • Manage program and event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability of programs.

  • Manage program and event logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and technology support.

  • Research and negotiate with suppliers, venues, and contractors for events, coordinating all aspects to ensure optimal terms and conditions.

  • Troubleshoot and manage timings, schedules, and budgets onsite during events to ensure smooth execution.

  • Contribute to marketing strategies for program promotion across social media, email, and professional networks.

  • Collaborate with the university's marketing department for consistent branding in promotional materials.

  • Coordinate with communications and marketing teams to publicize and promote events.

  • Manage expenses and track invoices in CUKC financial system.

  • Assess event and program effectiveness by gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders and making necessary improvements.

  • Analyze data on participation, satisfaction, and outcomes to guide future program development and report findings to university leadership.

  • Create post-event evaluation reports to enhance planning for future events.

  • Identify and recommend opportunities by analyzing data from past projects and events, understanding our mission and strategic strategy, and staying informed about global trends and developments.

  • Manage MARCOM project management system, task assignment, follow-up, and expectation setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three (3) years of related experience

  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in business or related field of study

  • Certification in project management or Six Sigma
