Job Description:

General Statement of Duties:

This particular job posting is an "Open Pool" position. There may or may not be available openings at this time however, when an opening does occur, the hiring manager will draw from the pool of applicants we have on file on an as needed basis.

The candidate will have primary responsibilities in providing all students with premier customer service. This position will assist in the execution of phone outreach campaigns in conjunction with enrollment activities and events and communicate with students and families through a variety of methods, to include walk-in, telephone, and e-mail correspondence.

Responsibilities:

Essential function and responsibilities may include:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for special projects;

  • Provide clerical support by performing activities such as scheduling appointments and meetings, and submitting space reservations, printing requisitions, and work orders;

  • Perform data entry on various software platforms. Utilize Salesforce CRM, as well as other resources, in the delivery and tracking of premium customer service to students.;

  • Contribute in the planning and coordination of enrollment outreach campaigns;

  • Responsible for participating in special events, including but not limited to recruitment, enrollment and financial aid activities;

  • Perform most duties during afternoons and evenings. Work a varying schedule, including days, nights, and weekends, when assigned and other duties as assigned;

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

The Enrollment Assistant should have demonstrated ability to work in high traffic offices at a fast pace with accuracy and effectiveness, should possess an interest in gaining significant higher education experience and exposure, and have the ability to:

  • Communicate effectively in written and verbal form;

  • Interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse constituencies;

  • Effectively operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, MS Office, Excel, Chat software, etc.);

  • Maintain files accurately, in paper form and within software programs;

  • Maintain confidentiality of records and information;

  • Work a flexible schedule.

Additional Information:

Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Employee Status: Part time

Hours per Week: not to exceed 18 hrs weekly

Number of Weeks: up to 52 weeks
