English Teacher - Manvel, Texas

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for English Language Teachers to provide face-to-face customized lessons to our clients in Manvel, Texas.

Job Information:

• Class Number: 173820

• Students: 1 kid (5-years-old)

• Lesson frequency: 2 times per week

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday around 3:30pm

• Lesson Duration: 45minutes

• Preferred start date: ASAP

• Location: at the client's place in Harbor Spring Way, Manvel, TX 77578 (1.3 miles from Pomona Elementary School) - Family is willing to drive student to alternate location if needed. Please feel free to propose an alternate location.

• Current target language level: Novice

• Native and other spoken languages: German

• Student's language needs and goals: She is in a German school and learning English.

• Additional Information: Daily conversation, integration at school are their main concerns. Family will be on vacation for 10 days in the middle of June and then again from July 8 to August 2.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learner's proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners towards learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• University degree and language teaching experience

• Minimum of two years of experience
