Provide instruction and support to English Language Learner's (ELL's) on a site level; support and train instructional staff on ELL best practices and strategies throughout California; provide support for the implementation of ELL curriculum; support the development of ELL programs for California sites.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum of five years of teaching experience working with English Language Learners Experience working with opportunity youth student population Master's Degree in English as a Second language preferred Bilingual preferred Valid and current California English 9-12 teaching credential or Education Specialist credential English Learner Authorization/CLAD Certificate or Bilingual Authorization or Certificate of Completion of Staff Development (CCSD) Valid California driver's license Current TB test Please send a cover letter and resume along with your completed application.

Work Year: July 1st - June 30th 215 Days/Year Salary: $87,404, - $101,362 Master's Stipend: $2,184 Doctorate Stipend: $2,184 Benefits: Member of California State Teacher's Retirement System (STRS) SIATech contributes 19.1% of salary to STRS annually (2024-2025) Comprehensive health benefits including 4 medical plans, dental & vision Employer paid life insurance 96 hours of paid sick leave Over 7 weeks of time off annually
