Shandon High School English Teacher Starting Aug 2024, for the 2024-2025 School Year. Attractive Health Benefit Packages Recruitment Incentive Payment, $4,000, paid September 2024 We are looking for a self directed teacher with a passion Language Arts, who wants to join our small, supportive school community. This position is for High School, serving a smaller district in eastern San Luis Obispo County (district enrollment approximately 300). Shandon is a rural community just east of Paso Robles. The Paso Robles area features a vibrant wine industry, nearby beaches (30 minutes away) cattle ranching, live music, parks, and family and outdoor activities, including hiking, horseback riding and other outdoor pursuits. Job Description / Essential Elements: Print

Position requires teaching of both Honors English (9th/10th grade), and College Prep English (grades 9th/12th) along with possibly Drama. Small class size under 25 with an average of 16.
