Upper Rogue Center for Educational Opportunities (URCEO) has an opening for a 6-12 Language Arts Teacher. The students are a blend of online/virtual and in-person. The number of students in the classroom will be consistantly less than 10 students. The teacher will be expected to be at URCEO (140 E. Main Street) everyday in-person. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a great staff in a comfortable setting.

• Position Details:
  Title: URCEO Language Arts Teacher grades 6-12
  Placement (location): Upper Rogue Center for Educational Opportunities (URCEO)
  Supervisor: Principal or designee
  Contract Days: 194 days/8 hr per day to begin August 22, 2024
  Salary Range: No less than $45,635 - $89,065 plus master's stipend of $2,282 (depending upon approved previous experience and graduate level credits)
  Position Closing Date: Open until filled, screening to begin as soon as possible

Description:
This position requires an Oregon Teaching license with an endorsement in English Language Arts or the ability to obtain same license prior to the start date. URCEO is a virtual school serving students grades 6-12. Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply. The position requires reporting to campus daily. URCEO is located in Eagle Point, OR.

General Expectations:
The ideal applicant will have demonstrated content knowledge and pedagogic skill relative to English Language Arts. A desire to collaborate with other educators, as well as the ability to maintain and adapt existing curricula to meet the ever changing needs of our students is required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using a variety of pedagogical and assessment tools, have a passion for educating ALL STUDENTS, and a willingness to be involved in the school community beyond the classroom setting.
