Responsibilities

  • You will solve engineering problems related to system design and installations (ND-03/04).

  • You will solve system issues related to system design and installations (ND-03/04).

  • You will participate in or conduct formal briefings for senior customer and government representatives (ND-03/04).

  • You will serve as a technical leader and/or subject matter expert (SME) on an integrated product team (IPT) (ND-04).

  • You will manage projects to include planning, scheduling, budgeting, installation, and sustainment of complex IT systems (ND-04).

Qualifications

STRL - Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field of scientific or engineering study directly related to the duties of the position being filled.

STRL - Advanced Degree: Advanced Degree is a Master's or higher degree from an accredited college or university in a field of scientific or engineering study directly related to the duties of the position being filled.

ND-03 - Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Carry out, interpret, and explain basic computations and calculations; and conduct analytical investigations using the scientific method.

ND-04 - Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Act as a principal contributor on team-based projects or coordinate a team project and provide technical oversight and direction; and/or evaluate specialized information technology systems, processes, and applications pertaining to the performed work.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
