What Will I Be Doing?
To provide daily supervision and provide leadership for Facilities Maintenance Services efforts, to achieve the highest levels of Guest Satisfaction, quality service and compliance with St Joe Club & Resort policies and procedures. Responsible for training and working with maintenance team to ensure Pearl Hotel and the facilities are in excellent condition for guest and associates. Under the direction of the Facilities Engineering Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for conveying daily the condition of all equipment, systems and building components, including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, furniture, paint, wall coverings, tile and other equipment/work normally maintained/performed by resort Maintenance Engineers.
What Experience is Needed to Be Successful?
A minimum of 2 years experience as an Engineer Supervisor or five to eight years experience in a related mechanical or trade experience with supervisory experience. CPO certification required or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Experience in painting, carpentry, furniture, masonry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC is preferred. Must have a valid Drivers License. Due to the nature of hospitality business, must be flexible workings days, nights, weekends and holidays.
What are the Physical Requirements of the Job?
Must be able to stand, walk, climb up and down steps/ladder, bend, kneel, crouch. On occasion, sit, keyboard. Some work will be outdoors in extreme conditions of winter and summer.
