The Mount Laurel, NJ office of TRC has an opening for a full-time Engineering Technician to support our Geotechnical Engineering Group. The group consists of a geotechnical engineering division an ASTM/AASHTO accredited soil and rock mechanics laboratory, and a pile dynamic analysis (PDA) testing and vibration monitoring component. We work collaboratively with TRC's full-service drilling division, and a commercial construction inspection division, which includes a concrete testing laboratory to provide high-quality and cost-effective geotechnical design solutions for a wide range of project applications. Our primary service area comprises PA, NJ, NY, VA, WV, OH, DE, DC, MD and MA.

This position offers the potential for a variety of office and field related experience. Examples of typical responsibilities include: assisting engineers with report preparation, inspection and logging of site investigation activities, assisting with laboratory testing of soil and rock, visual classification of soil and rock. Additional responsibilities will also include assisting with PDA testing and reporting, construction vibration monitoring and reporting, and quality control testing of earthwork and foundation construction. AutoCad or Microstation experience is helpful, but not required. Training will be provided for all aspects of the job responsibilities.

This Cyber Security Systems Engineering position will support multiple programs in the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) Line of Business (LOB). Assignments will include the development of element and component level requirements, performing requirement analysis (hardware and/or software), developing design documentation, supporting integration and test of cyber security capabilities, evaluating infrastructure design in the area of cyber security, and supporting certification of such systems. Position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline and professional engineering experience, with hands on experience in computing and network infrastructure components and technologies.
