Join our dynamic team at ManTech International, where innovation meets excellence in the realm of advanced engineering. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Technician I to provide parts research, onboard validation, and acquisition services in support of small boats under 200 feet, primarily US Navy small boats program.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collect, identify, annotate and enter research information into a computer database

• Identify maintenance requirements for mechanical and electrical equipment

Basic Qualifications:

• A High School diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience conducting parts research for mechanical and electrical systems for the military, commercial and recreational marine industry in boats under 200 feet

• Experience with data entry and manipulating spreadsheets

• Experience and knowledge of Navy 3M(Maintenance and Material Management) program

• Proficient in Google Sheets, Docs & Gmail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point

Desired Qualifications:

• Perform equipment validations on boats either on trailers or in the water

• Former US Navy Machinist's Mate, Engineman, or Electricians Mate preferred

Clearance Requirements:

• Current and active Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

• Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

• May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.
