Engineering Technician IV

*This is a contingent position based on the successful award of the contract.

*Remote work options are negotiable post-award.

We are currently seeking an Engineering Technician to assist in a variety of activities. At FirstDiv, we provide high-quality, professional services to both government and commercial sectors. The qualified candidate shall perform the following tasks:

• Provide support for Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms.
• Assist with the installation of C2 and/or ISR equipment.
• Design, prepare, and modify engineering documents and drawings.
• Work in Information Technology or RF Communications disciplines, ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years of experience in support of Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the installation of such equipment.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents and drawings.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology or RF Communications disciplines, with at least 7 years performed within the last 9 years.
• Associate’s degree in Engineering, Physical Science, or Engineering Technology.
• An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required to start. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
• Light to moderate lifting may be required.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
