Job Summary

The Engineering Technician 1 is responsible for initiating and developing engineering drawings through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project's discipline engineers. Works under the direction of the Design Supervisor or Lead Designer.

Minimum Requirements

Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited 2 year college and seeking an Associate's degree with an emphasis in Structural Design or Engineering Graphic Design with the intent to graduate at the end of the internship.

Working knowledge of Autodesk, 2D/3D CAD Software.

Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen

Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Structural framing systems, building and major equipment foundation systems, and reinforced concrete mat and slab systems.

Working knowledge of model interference detection and resolution

Working knowledge of Tekla Structures including advanced coursework in connection design and steel detailing.

Working knowledge of Revit software.

For more information, visit The Highlights Responsible for providing guidance and direction to the Network Engineering team on day-to-day activities regarding monitoring the network, installation sites, trouble isolation and repair of identified and reported problems. What You Will Do * Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. * Develops a disciplined, detailed and structured team to drive a high-performance culture and environment. * Provides engineering support and direction for new or existing technologies and current operational initiatives. * Work with staff to ensure that individual team metrics and goals are being met. * Ensures required reports are timely, accurate and complete. * Provides technical guidance and assistance as required for problem resolution. * Oversees the daily activities of Network Services and performs direct supervision of team members, including performance reviews, career development and staffing. * Adheres to all applicable industry-specific local, state and federal regulations. * Knows, understands and follows company policy. * Establishes positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support. * Performs other duties as requested by manager.
