Engineering Support Coordinator

The Opportunity

This is a new opportunity within our Engineering team responsible for facilitating our Engineering documentation processes across multiple engineering disciplines as well as providing support on a variety of administrative projects.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Acts as a change coordinator for development, release, and modification of product data within the PLM system for both standard and custom products.

  • Coordinates and maintains the approval and notification matrix for product change objects.

  • Completes specially assigned, department specific, administrative projects and tasks.

  • Responsible for the timely creation of identified department metrics.

Requirements

Successful candidates should have a minimum of 3 5 years prior administrative experience or an Associates level degree.

Additional requirements include:

  • Basic knowledge of Engineering document control best practices

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of Applications

  • Strong problem-solving skills

This position will provide mechanical engineering support in conceptual and practical service and development of AC induction machine components working directly with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on customer solutions. Responsibilities Complete motor dimension drawings and Bills of Material to support quotations for the CS group and warranty situations Create and design mechanical design solutions to resolve warranty situations Provide technical work instruction documents to support field service repair work Assist in troubleshooting issues experienced in the field to support Warranty group Prepare clear, complete and accurate detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches, change orders or notes Communicate/interface as part of the Warranty team with the customer and/or end user to troubleshoot/investigate specific field issues.
