We are currently seeking an Engineering Services Administrator II to join our team.

Provide daily end-user support, advice, administration, and system enhancements within AV engineering applications, primarily Dassault SolidworksEnterprise PDM (EPDM). Improve overall people, process, and systems efficiency. Foster positive relationships with a wide range of end users and key business partners in all areas of responsibility. Support future interfaces between EPDM and other applications. Manage forward-looking plans for upgrades and according to vendor roadmaps. Assist the team in other engineering application administration tasks, including (but not limited to) JAMA and Oracle Agile. Able to support these efforts by writing code and applying SQL/database skills. This is an on-site position.

Special Requirements

U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), per ITAR definition

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • University degree in Engineering, Information Technologies, or related field is required or equivalent combination of experience and education

  • 2 - 5 years in related work experience;

  • Willingness to travel locally (Occasionally)

  • Hands-on Solidworks/EPDM administration experience, including workflow design/creation/modification, user administration, and template modifications.

  • Experience in Solidworks CAD tool usage.

  • Prefer hands-on experience administering other CAD/PDM tools, including ECAD and software version control.

  • Experience training users in new or revised processes.

  • Experience in documenting new or revised processes.

  • Project management experience related to estimating and scheduling work activities.

  • Experience/knowledge of MSSQL databases and SQL scripting.

One assists Facilities Supervisors and management in location and procurement of materials and services for both facilities operations and facilities capital projects. Is a liaison between Facilities and other cross-functional departments pertaining to Facilities-related projects. Assists with coordination of outside contractor activities with regards to vendor selection and capital projects management. Position Responsibilities * Assist with coordination of outside contractor activities with regards to vendor selection and capital projects management. * Process purchase requests and purchase orders for Facilities department at all AV facilities. * Coordinate and manage department meetings and events. * Create and maintain expense reports for facilities management. * Coordinate with vendors: Scheduling, escorting, billing, liaison with departments. * Works closely with accounting regarding AR and AP functions. * Research of solutions for facilities department in-house engineering. * Assist facilities supervisors and management in location and procurement of materials and services for both facilities operations and facilities capital projects. * Prepare and collate all documentation for monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) * Attend team meeting minutes and produce subsequent minutes/actions * Liaison between facilities and EH&S, maintaining log books and waste streams while also meeting with the hazardous material disposal vendor. * Administration of the Facilities work order system for AV facilities (Track-It). * Coordination with building security in order to accommodate vendors and ensure security concerns and policies are addressed as they occur. * Assists coordination with IT department at all AV sites in order to address any cross-department concerns with facilities. * Assists coordination with property management to ensure proper movement of property and assets between AV facilities. * Receiving and creating bids/proposals for future facilities upgrades and additions. * Assists in general facilities functions, such as: * Furniture moves * Personnel moves * Facility repair and maintenance * Backup to facilities technicians on an as needed basis Special Requirements U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) required, per ITAR definition Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience) * High school diploma or GED equivalent is required or equivalent combination of experience and education * Entry level position typically requiring less than 1 year of related experience * Previous experience with EH&S functions, including waste streams and hazardous material disposal * Experience managing and coordinating outside vendors activities, goals and schedules * Valid California driver's license with clean DMV record * Good oral and written communication skills * Basic computer skills, including email, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and AutoCAD * Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies * Associates degree or comparable job training is a plus * Previous work experience in a Facilities department role is a plus * Bilingual with Spanish is a plus * Forklift experience is a plus * Skilled at prioritizing work load in an efficient manner * Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties * Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives * Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products * Is committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve and enhance performance of oneself, others, and the company * Focuses on teamwork and puts the success of the team above one's own interests Physical Demands * Ability to work in an office and warehouse environment (Constant) * Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent) * Ability to lift and carry objects of varying sizes and shapes up to 40 lbs.
