The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for successfully leading multidisciplinary teams executing environmental restoration projects at hazardous waste sites. Typical projects include site characterization, alternatives evaluation, remedy selection, remedial design, remedial construction, O&M, and optimization of impacted sites. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to our clients and will have a responsible position in leading teams and assisting in marketing our King of Prussia group.

ADDITIONALLY, YOU WILL:

  • Work closely with clients to implement successful projects.

  • Market existing and potential clients and prepare proposals and qualification statements.

  • Oversee the identification and evaluation of remedial alternatives.

  • Supervise performance of conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses, and preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents

  • Direct preparation of construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates

  • Ensure standard engineering, scientific, and construction practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects

  • Perform projects in accordance with RCRA, CERCLA, UST, CWA and other appropriate state and federal regulations.

  • BS degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field is required. Advanced degree is preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with increasing responsibility in the environmental restoration consulting market (3 years required in the Philadelphia market)

  • Professional registration (i.e., Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG)) is strongly preferred. New Jersey LSRP licensure preferred. PMP Certification a plus.

  • 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour refresher training is required. Other OSHA training is desirable.

  • Experience with governmental projects is mandatory.

  • Successful past performance directing and supervising subcontractors. Experience with Construction Management is a plus.

  • Proven track record of successfully bringing in and executing profitable assignments for clients and building key target client accounts is beneficial but not mandatory

  • Proven ability to lead preparation of key proposals and deliverables

Job Responsibilities Clerical Duties: * Performs assigned clerical duties including but not limited to registration, scheduling, answering telephones, chart preparation, and patient appointment confirmations. * Enters hospital charges for studies performed. Clinical Duties: * Facilitates the provision of care to patients and families by accurately documenting clinical information as per National Patient Safety Goals and CHOP Departmental Policies. * Uses an age appropriate approach to obtain physical measurement which includes heights, weights, blood pressures, head circumference, temperatures, pulse, respiratory rate, and documents according to department standards. * Performs basic laboratory tests on the premises within POCT standards, maintains refrigerator and QC logs. * Collects and prepares laboratory specimens which may include phlebotomy, according to health system standards. * Performs EKG testing, Holter Monitor placement, hydrogen breath test, orthopedic casting. * Cleans and sterilizes medical instruments using health system standards. * Utilizes infection prevention and control procedures according to health system policy * Stocks patient examination rooms. * Cleaning and disinfection of medical devices and equipment. This may include pre-cleaning, low level disinfection, high level disinfection and or sterilization. * Must successfully complete: on line training; initial competency training, initial competency return demonstration and annual competency test and return demonstration. Compiles with standards set forth by all applicable regulatory agencies and CHOP policies and procedures. * Maintains patient areas while assuring compliance standards set forth by regulatory agencies. * Manages supplies and equipment in a fiscally responsible manner. * Recognizes and respects cultural diversity while being sensitive to the individual's ability to communicate. * Prioritizes and performs multiple tasks. * Floats to other areas as needed.
