Engineering Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Support the Program Manager with the creation of program plans including the development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for management of scope to ensure alignment with contract requirements, budgets, and internal commitments.
Help support by delivering cutting-edge technology and systems on the new state-of-the-art, military equipment / vessels, etc.
Assist the Program Manager with the monitoring and assessment of the program performance against plan (schedule and financial).
Work with the project team to help identify risk and scope changes, develop and implement corrective action when necessary to initiate program changes. Maintain MS Schedule regularly.
Assist the Program Manager with the review of Production Contracts to ensure execution alignment.
Assist the Program Manager with the control of expenditures per the project budget and report monthly on project budget to actual performance via the Estimate to Complete (ETC) process.
Understand the role and responsibility of each program team member and be able to communicate to team members the program's scope, schedule, and financial objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical, preferred); Higher Education is a plus.
2 + years' experience in project management.
DoD related work experience (preferred); Must have a secret security clearance or be able to obtain one
Support the Program Manager with the development of the program's resources. Direct assigned program resources.
IWS (Integrated Master Schedule), WBS (Work Breakdown Schedule), and MS Project (preferred)
