Engineering Project Manager III

Excel Engineering, Inc. seeks a team-oriented, highly motivated individual for a full-time Engineering Project Manager III. This is for our power utility client in Minneapolis, MN.

We operate in the US and abroad. This position drives the fault location, isolation, and service restoration (FLISR) program across multiple OpCos within the client's service territory. Leads, coordinates, and drives the process from design and construction to device installation to integration with Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) software.

Works with field and FLISR engineer(s) to track the programming and testing of the protection devices Ensures the quality and gate check of every stage of engineering Supports/Develops job aids for different FLISR activities Proactively develops and manages the program budget and completes within the guided variance Tracks issues and maintains reporting processes for smooth implementation of FLISR program and escalates to management for faster resolution of any issues Requirements Electrical Engineering degree with PE credentials. 15 years of experience in the disciplines above is required. At least 5 years of project management experience. Some utility experience.

A PMP certificate would be a plus. Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Leadership experience/experience leading large teams, building morale, etc.
