Job Purpose: The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for directing and assesses the daily operations of a project's engineering team. They are also the main point of contact between engineering and operations for the project.
What You Will Do
Ensure the project engineering team adheres to project plans, specifications, and customer standards.
Assist Operation's Project Managers with cost reports, estimates, and quotes.
Generate and maintain engineering deliverable schedules and help the team meet deadlines.
Provide guidance and direction to the project engineering team, assist with paperwork and tasks required for the project.
Serve as the liaison between the project's engineering team and customers, both internal and external.
Assist with material procurement, tracking of orders, and ensuring all material is on time and on budget.
Control System Design Engineer Preferred Experience:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent. (GPA requested)
Degree may be offset by 3+ years of previous experience in a similar industry.
A high-level understanding of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Able to interpret plans, specs, and P&IDs
Familiar with Rockwell, Siemens, Tridium, SCADA, etc.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software
Experience with Smartsheets and Bluebeam a plus
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Positive influence and ability to work on a team or independently as a self-starter.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
Excellent communication skills
