Engineering Project Manager- Cabinet Manufacturing Salary: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 We are seeking a detailed communicator to be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring they're completed on time, exceed customer expectations, and integrate seamlessly with our engineering systems and software. Set project timelines, assign tasks to team members, and monitor and summarize progress. Prepare comprehensive reports for management detailing project status, including potential roadblocks and solutions. Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Design departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with our systems and software.
Document internal processes to improve efficiency and maintain institutional knowledge. Foster clear and consistent communication within the team, creating high levels of project transparency throughout the entire timeline. Partner with the Operations Manager on project escalations, providing clear justifications for swift and effective resolutions.
Promptly assist with any project-related support requests. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in the cabinet field or a related field (a plus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure. Self-motivated with a proactive "can-do" attitude. Prior project management experience.
Background in engineering and software a significant advantage (familiarity with AutoCAD, SQL, or construction software). Proficient in project management methodologies. The Work Environment: Fast-paced and dynamic, with occasional overtime and weekend work required to meet deadlines.
Requires strong communication and collaboration across departments, particularly with our engineering and software teams. May involve occasional work on the shop floor (non-climate controlled).
