Job Summary

Our technology and services power advertising in Apple News and Search Ads in App Store. We are seeking an engineering project manager with strong technical skills and experience in data engineering and reporting to work closely with our engineering teams to deliver products of the highest quality.

This role requires the ability to understand the big picture while also being able to dive into technical details to solve problems. This role will involve interaction with all aspects of engineering, operations, product, marketing, legal and release.

Key Qualifications

You have 7+ years in project management, program management or product management using proven software development techniques. Strong background in building data pipelines and reporting platforms.

Self-motivated and dedicated, with demonstrated willingness to learn and critical thinking capabilities. Driver of results and effective decision-maker, with demonstrated experience of leading an engineering team forward. Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization.

Description

Responsibilities will include the following: You will drive one or more projects that relate to data, data pipelines, and/or reporting capabilities.

You will drive cross-functional requirements and integration with other engineering teams. You will work closely with Product and the Engineering Manager to define the vision, product roadmap, and requirements. You will oversee all aspects of project management, including timelines, resource allocation, scope, definition, risks, dependencies.

Support internal customers/users of the data platform by managing feature requests, requirements, and delivery timelines. You will Lead communication with both internal groups and external groups as it relates to your team.

Education

Engineering Data Systems Intern Job Description: This is not your typical IT job. As an Engineering Data Systems (EDS) Intern at MACOM, you will be part of a small, but high leverage team chartered to build cross-functional data systems from the ground up to support engineers world-wide. You could be based in corporate headquarters in Lowell, MA or in MACOM's field office in Hillsboro, OR. You will collaborate with EDS engineers to design and develop a database schema and data analysis tools/reports aimed at meeting the needs of the organization for years to come. Your skills, interests and knowledge related to database architectures, SQL, web programming, and/or how engineers process information to solve problems and make decisions will be key to your success, as will your attention to detail and your passion for excellence.
