The F-35 Training Market Segment within the Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) line of business in Rotary and Mission Systems seeks well-qualified applicants for an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) position.
Reporting to the F-35 Training Development Chief Engineer, this position will serve as a F-35 Training Development EPM responsible for overseeing engineering content for the Development Foundation Contract 2 (DFC2) contract, as well as infrastructure & tools modernization scope on Block 4 contracts. The DFC2 contract ensures prepared and maintain Training lab environments to support all training system development, integration and test activities for current, fielded, and planned baselines. This position is responsible for directing and managing all phases of the engineering product design and development lifecycle of Pilot, Maintenance and Infrastructure Training products to ensure overall Air System Alignment, Product Relevancy, Lifecycle Affordability, Sustainability, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources Changes, and user problem resolution.
This position will be responsible for continuing to enhance F-35 Training development processes, with a focus on lab & tool modernization, and ensuring relevant training products are delivered per cost, schedule and technical requirements. The F-35 Training development organization is critical to the long-term success of the F-35 Program and it is imperative that we deliver on our commitments to our warfighters around the world.
