Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Engineering Program Manager to join our dynamic team.
As an Engineering Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, operations, and executive leadership, to drive project success and achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning and implementation of engineering projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Track project progress, monitor and report on key metrics to stakeholders. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
Team Leadership and Collaboration: Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams (engineering, product, operations) to ensure project success. Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, including setting clear expectations and priorities. Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
Communicate project status, issues, and risks effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries. Resource Management:
Allocate resources effectively across projects based on priorities and timelines. Work closely with resource managers to ensure adequate staffing and skills for project needs. Manage third-party vendors and subcontractors as necessary.
Quality and Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project management processes and methodologies. Ensure adherence to engineering standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct post-project reviews and incorporate lessons learned into future projects. Minimum Qualifications: Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Proven experience (2 years) as a Program Manager or Engineering Project Manager in a technology-driven environment. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in managing large-scale projects or programs involving complex systems or products. Desired Qualifications: Consumer product experience.
