Responsibilities

• Gather baseline data to understand how hydrodynamic pattern features work on rotary shaft seals.

• Create Test Fixture and Test Method to evaluate and measure Hydrodynamic Pattern pumping capabilities.

• Document Testing Results, analyze variables start assembling pattern effectiveness.

• Develop Inventor Standard Method to create hydrodynamic patterns in model creation.

• Hours: 20-40 hours/week typically between 8 AM and 5 PM depending on availability

• Flexible start date

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior level status in an Accredited University in an Engineering related degree program including, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology or related degree program.

• Some work experience through previous internships preferred.

Conditions of Employment

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders], or have refugee or asylee status).
