Corpay is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Engineering Manager. In this role, you will oversee a development team composed of developers, architects, quality assurance specialists, and site reliability engineers. Your primary responsibilities will involve team leadership, workflow optimization, and close collaboration with product managers. A thorough comprehension of our product capabilities, customer requirements, processes, and technology are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, modern programming languages, along with strong communication, collaboration, and development skills, are key requirements for this position.

Role Responsibilities
Manage and develop an engineering team, including:
Providing leadership, technical expertise, and career development for team members.
Ensuring highest levels of job satisfaction by setting goals, job expectations, responsibilities, and targets.
Ensuring team is involved in process identification and changes, participating in actively learning and meeting roadmap and project goals.
Establishing and tracking agile processes, planning, milestones, and deployment to ensure departmental success.
Having technical discussions with team members to agree on product scope and delivery schedules.
Tracking delivery schedule and related dependencies
Partnering with Product, Operations and Sales on product or service modifications or improvements.
Consulting with internal and external customers about project design, process and needs.
Determining performance standards and work with project managers to select milestones for phasing.
Conferring with various groups to design projects and to obtain information on needs, limitations and capabilities, related projects, performance requirements and interfaces.
Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and strategy constraints.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience
5+ years' overall experience in software development technologies
3+ years of Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex web applications
Understands Agile and CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous development)
Familiarity with modern programming languages: Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, ReactJS, Python, AngularJS framework development
Experience working with Cloud Application Development (AWS)
Experience with Containerized Computing (Docker and Kubernetes)
Experience with Git and use of GitFlow or GitHubFlow
Experience leading development team who will be interfacing with REST APIs (Postman, consuming and providing REST APIs for internal / external clients etc.)
Strong familiarity with Microservice-based application architecture
This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At FLEETCOR, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $130,000 - $175,000.
