CARMERA is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the team in our Seattle office.
Are you a passionate self-starter with an interest in new technologies and the ability to complete tasks quickly with minimal supervision?

We are willing to offer relocation support to Seattle for qualified candidates.
Your Role:

You will have the opportunity to use your technical and leadership skills to ensure the team ships high quality software and map data

We will count on you to lead day-to-day engineering efforts in the Seattle office

Your colleagues will collaborate with you on sprint planning and keeping teams in sync

Your insights will be valued in technical discussions on architecture, feature implementation, and other topics

You can help grow the team by facilitating recruiting efforts in Seattle

Qualifications
Required:

Experience as a manager or lead engineer

Good English communication skills

Bachelor degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Recommended:

Experience working in a startup environment

Consistent track record of delivering distributed systems

Three or more years of professional software engineering experience

Good working knowledge of python

Experience with geospatial data and/or services

Background includes helping grow engineering teams

Experience collaborating with remote teams
