Engineering Manager

Actalent is currently hiring an Engineering Manager for a client in the Kansas City metro with exceptional mechanical problem-solving skills and engineering experience. This is the perfect opportunity to take on a leadership role while applying your technical expertise in a variety of hands on functions.

Description:

• Lead a team of project engineers in the development of a proprietary line of products.

• Plan and direct Design and Project engineers on specific projects.

• Responsible for leading the day-to-day flow of work through the Engineering department.

• Handle product revisions based on customer's change order requests.

• Interact with customers to ensure product design meets their specifications.

• Design in conformance with ISO regulations and standards.

• Serve multiple customers actively and their product requests.

• Help with costing of new products to establish MSRP.

• Update and maintain weekly engineering schedule.

• Provide support to the Manufacturing, SMARTFLOW, and Sales teams.

Skills:

SolidWorks, Project management, GD&T, Machining, Mechanical engineering, ISO standards, Cost analysis, Manufacturing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

• 5+ years leadership experience; ability to manage and delegate multiple projects simultaneously.

• SolidWorks experience, Creo/ProE is a plus.

• Understand GD&T knowledge.

• Metals/plastics experience is a plus.

• CMM/CNC programming experience is a plus.
