We are looking for a Mechanical Design Intern to join our FE_Energy team in United States. This position is full time during the summer months and a minimum of 20 hrs during the school year.
Training will be given to accomplish the following:
Drafting support using Medusa 2D system.
Drafting support using Unigraphics 3D/2D system
Engineering support work for projects as assigned
Release of drawings / documents through SAP & Windchill ERP systems
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards
Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide ESG & EHS Management systems, which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Completion of sophomore or junior year of BSc Mechanical Engineering degree
Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
Sound computer skills in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems
An Interest in rotating machinery and manufacturing is beneficial
