Engineering Intern

Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners. Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.

Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors. Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. Maintain logs of activities and completed work.

Develops and maintains a system for managing office routine Assists in planning, conducting and evaluating projects Monitors programs and projects Frequent contact with others outside the work group Maintains technical expertise and procedural knowledge Keeps supervision advised of work in process Assumes operational assignments as a working member Assists in the coordination of special or unusual projects Requirements: High School diploma or GED. Need to enroll in college at WKU. 2 years of being in college is ideal 1 full year of college is fine, too.

Experience with Auto CAD experience working in 3-D and 2-D, excel and Microsoft word.
