Become a part of the strength within. Hexcel is currently seeking an Engineering Intern for our Windsor, Colorado location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
The completion of assigned projects that will utilize skills learned in formal education program. Analyzing and interpreting manufacturing techniques, procedures, and processing conditions in the production of resins and pre-preg materials
Perform testing on Electrical/Mechanical components and recommend improvements Data analysis in support of process and productivity improvements Assisting with inspections of equipment Safety analysis and improvement projects Development of engineering cost proposals and project scheduling Qualifications:
Sophomore or higher level in a B.S. degree program from an accredited college or university in Materials Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Civil Engineering Ability to work effectively as a team member Excellent written and verbal communication skills Current computer literacy including Microsoft Office Products Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma continuous improvement programs preferred Experience with CAD and/or Minitab preferred Eligible candidate must be:
