Daikin Applied is now hiring for an Engineering Intern in Plymouth, MN !

Timeline: This opportunity is for May - August 2023.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with assigned engineer to research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.

  • Design/test products or systems such as instruments, controls, fan coil, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems under the direction of assigned engineer.

  • Work with fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems under the direction of assigned engineer.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, preferred 3.5 or better

  • Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues at various levels of the organization

  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship

Preferred:

  • Experience with Solidworks or related CAD software

  • Strong Excel acumen

  • Previous Internship or research experience
