We are currently seeking an Engineering Development Technician II to join our team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operating and maintaining a safe and clean machine/wood/composite shops for engineering

  • Order shop supplies, tooling, fasteners, materials, equipment, & misc. supplies on a day by day basis.

  • Perform quality machining process on manual mills and manual lathes.

  • Subject matter in power tools and hand tools, maintain & repairs shop equipment.

  • Interface with engineering team to help streamline design and build rapid prototypes from initial conception.

  • Fabricate tool fixtures, test fixtures while maintaining a high standard of work practice.

  • Ability to use paints, spray paints and various adhesives.

  • Troubleshoots mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.

  • Teaches other employees has to use and run shop equipment and tools.

  • Repairs various company models for AV's marketing business units.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications & Background

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) required due to ITAR

  • High School diploma or equivalent is desirable.

  • 2 to 4 years of progressive technical experience in a rapid prototype/machine shop environment

  • Experience in fabricating using materials such as steel, aluminum, wood & plastics

  • CNC programming and or operating CNC machines recommended - optional

  • Has welding experience using Mig and Tig systems - optional

  • Experience in using epoxies and making small urethane and silicone molds

  • Ability to understand and read CAD drawings.

  • Able to effectively communicate with engineers and others to troubleshoot and provide instructions and recommend potential solutions.

  • Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Organized, thorough, and engineering-minded with strong attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with Safety and ESD practices is a plus.

  • Model making experience recommended - optional

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics is desired.

The Pricing Analyst II prepares various types of proposals for development, production, and competitive contracts and assists Senior Pricing Analysts on large/complex proposals. One must have a practical understanding of estimating & pricing principles and demonstrate application through hands-on experience. In this role, the Pricing Analyst II supports reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Review Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications/requirements and adherence to company policy * Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and presents costs estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies * Prepare and validate cost estimates for sustainment, engineering and manufacturing labor, materials, subcontracts and vendor data, parts & equipment. Identify cost and price risks and apply to estimates where applicable * Supports DCAA audits and assists with contract negotiations as necessary and liaises between operations and other support organizations for estimating instructions and pricing * Performs analysis of cost estimates identifying inconsistencies and issues. Develop different cost estimation projects and procedures for final approval by management * Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications & Background * US Citizenship or US permanent resident (Green Card Holder) due to ITAR * Bachelor's degree in related discipline * 2 – 5 years of related experience in Estimating and/or Finance * Must possess project management skills including organizing, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet proposal milestones.
