Engineering Cost Estimator

Engineering Cost EstimatorIndustry: Manufacturing

Principal Responsibilities:

Works with engineers to identify processes and tooling that may be required to produce the product being cost estimated.

• Collaborate with engineer team
• Identifies labor, material and time requirements
• Computes costs
• Creates quote responses and submits them to the Sales department.
• Analyzes completed jobs to compare quoted labor time, material, and outside processes.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• 2 year Technical/Engineering degree
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing estimating or engineering.
• AutoCAD/Inventor 3D experience 
• Experience in metal working manufacturing environment
• Roll form, press brake, and welding estimating experience
