In this role you will act as a liaison between Engineering and Production to ensure engineering concepts are presented to the production group in the most appropriate and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as liaison between Engineering and Production to ensure smooth project transition into production by:
Managing each molding PQ execution
Training production staff on inspection, sampling, and packaging techniques
Ensuring product is handled in a safe and efficient manner
Coordinate and/or perform all necessary machine IQ's, including validation protocol and report writing, facilitating the qualification, and updating IQ records within Master Control.
Perform product audits to ensure adherence of production to quotes and standards.
Support Engineering projects and support Product Development as required.
Support process improvements, cost reductions/savings, scrap reductions, etc. through the implementation of LEAN concepts.
Improve processes and procedures to manufacture a quality product at a minimum cost.
Provides a "Customer Service" attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.
Education and Experience:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have effective problem solving and interpersonal skills
Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Master Control, Measurlink, and Minitab
Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
Able to comply with the company's safety policy at all times
Able to comply with the company's quality policy at all times
