Description:
Teaming with other members of the Maintenance and Partner organizations, the Engineering Coordinator creates efficient preventive and corrective work order plans which focus on required resources (labor, material, special tools, diagrams, sketches, work procedures, regulatory procedures, permit identification, etc.) so that Maintenance jobs can efficiently take-place, unimpeded and without barrier the first time they are assigned.

The Engineering Coordinator plans all future-related work; develops schedules of upcoming work in the near and long term future.

Levels Maintenance workloads in order to help optimize Maintenance labor utilization and internal production schedules.

The Engineering Coordinator issues a variety of computer-based Planning and Scheduling informational and effectiveness reports for Maintenance and customer organizations.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Knowledge of CMMS computer programs desirable.

Demonstrated skills with computer software applications (i.e. MS Project, Excel and/or Word).

The Division generates $400MM in annual revenue and has 1,500 employees in 13 countries. The anatomical pathology product line includes Richard Allan Scientific, Erie Scientific, Microm, Shandon, and Lab Vision. Position Summary: The Engineering Document Control Administrator will provide daily ownership of documentation and change process guidelines for all engineering data. This position collaborates closely with the Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams to archive and maintain engineering data throughout the product lifecycle. This position will report directly to the Sr Manager, Engineering. Key Responsibilities: * Execution of approved Engineering changes * Ensure completion and approvals of Engineering Change Controls through the Change Control process while collaborating with different departments * Participate on Change Control Board to ensure implementation of engineering changes * Create, update, and revise Device History Records (DHRs) * Create and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) * Assign new part numbers for raw materials and update in ERP system * Ensures UN packaging testing is completed and are up-to-date per certification guidelines * Assists Engineering with IQ/OQ/PQ validations and documentation to include tracking of all documents from the beginning of the process through approval from the Validation Board * Complete calibration on Engineering equipment and ensure all are up to date * Initiate, monitor, and close all Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders and keep records in an orderly manner and audit ready * Assist Engineering with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions - to include creation and updates for new and existing processes * All other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred * 2+ years of related experience preferred * Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) * Ability to create technical documentation using common Microsoft Office and Acrobat applications * Ability to read and have basic understanding of technical drawings * Ability to plan and resolve issues that involve gaining collaboration of cross-functional departments * Demonstrated ability to analyze data and execute basic problem solving * Self-starter, attention to detail, team player and excellent oral, written, presentation and role model leadership skills * The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 40lbs If you are an individual with a disability who requires reasonable accommodation to complete any part of our application process, click here for further assistance.
