Life Sciences

Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.

Dental

Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

Job OverviewWith little or no supervision, manages remote regional office and travels between customer facilities providing on-site engineering control testing, certification, environmental monitoring, decontamination and repair/maintenance services throughout a healthcare, R&D or manufacturing facility, as required or requested. Main Responsibilities

Activities
1)

Travels between customer facilities providing on-site engineering control testing, certification, environmental monitoring, decontamination and repair/maintenance services, as required or requested. Facilities will be located in the Upstate NY and greater New England areas.
2)

Maintains a rigid service schedule.
3)

Communicates duty status on a defined scheduled.
4)

Creates / maintains customer relationships while providing customers with guidance and recommendations.
5) Communicates daily with internal and external customers to provide job status.

Qualifications

Key Competencies (Non-technical Behavioral Skills, i.e. presentation, negotiation, customer service skills), you may just list the most important 7-10, in priority order:

Education and Experience Required (including certifications and/or software requirements for the position):

Education equivalent to graduation from high school, or GED.

Three or more years' experience as an Engineering Control Specialist required.

Must possess NSF certification.

Must possess CETA accreditation.

Must possess or be capable of obtaining medical clearance for respirator use.

May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.

Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work varied shifts, weekends if needed, overtime as required to complete service. Must be able to travel. Travel varies in frequency and duration.

This role is responsible for the planning, procurement and reporting activities of all purchased material for a complex category of commodities at the optimum cost and best in class level of service needed to support the timely manufacturing and distribution of quality products to Nova Biomedical customers. This position is expected to seek significant cost savings as well as for developing and implementing strategies to improve overall inventory performance. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all Nova purchasing policies and procedures. Schedules and places purchase orders with suppliers based on MRP requirements and order policies while managing inventory to required levels. Develop supplier relationships and establish delivery methods to support Kanban inventory and lean manufacturing techniques in an effort to drive inventory levels to a minimum. Oversee the purchasing process to ensure on-time delivery and follow up with suppliers to resolve material shortages resulting from shipping delays. Solicit and evaluate proposals involving complex pricing analysis. Negotiate high dollar contracts where applicable and evaluate supplier performance to secure a consistent quality product at competitve prices. Work with Distribution and Supplier Quality to resolve purchase order receiving issues and returns ofMRB NCMR material to suppliers and finance to resolve supplier invoicing issues. Seek out new suppliers and work to develop long terms supplier relationships. Work with Engineering on sourcing of new components and implementation of product revisions (ECO's) with suppliers. Work with planning to ensure material availability supports MPS product schedules. Monitor and measure key supplier delivery performance. Participate in supplier management review meetings. Maintain accurate planning parameters in MRP such as item master, lead times, order policy, etc. Send open purchase order report to key suppliers at a minimum on a monthly basis and reconcile any disconnects in information. Analyze purchased inventory profiles such as lot size criteria, ordering rules, ordering pattt111s, inventory replenishment methods, inventory turns, moving Help with cross training of purchasing department personnel. Represent purchasing group on various cross-functional process improvement teams.
