CTG's premier global client located in Baytown, TX (77520) has an immediate need for an Engineering Computer Systems Analyst to join their US Engineering IT Group and provide application administration and support for engineering applications, EDMS applications, and 2D design and drafting tools.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Be proficient in administration and support of 2D CAD applications (Bentley Microstation, Autodesk Autocad, and Hexagon SmartSketch)

  • Perform as technical support analyst for all aspects of 2D CAD including user operations, installation, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the software

  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems, servers, hardware, Oracle and SQL server databases and Citrix XENServer/XENApp environments

  • Understand engineering documentation workflow and be knowledgeable in EDMS applications (Documentum and/or Bentley ProjectWise)

  • Be proficient in documenting technical procedures and end user manuals for supported applications

Education Requirements and

Qualifications:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Preferred candidates will have at least 10 years' experience in an IT support role and 5 years' experience in an Engineering application support role

  • Experience in supporting Hexagon Smart Applications (S3D, SPPID, SPI, SPF) is also preferred

Other:

  • Compensation: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour, W-2, negotiable based on experience

  • Duration: 12 months, extendable

  • Shift Start: First

  • Drug Testing: Hair follicle and urine drug testing will be conducted prior to hire and may include random testing once placed on assignment

We are seeking a talented individual to be our IEC Engineer / Specialist at our Cedar Bayou facility in Baytown, TX, where you'll provide instrumentation and electrical (IEC) engineering for projects and some day-to-day unit support.
