We are looking for a talented Engineering Co-op who will be able to apply coursework concepts to real-world situations working alongside professional, experienced colleagues while also gaining valuable experience working for a Global Manufacturing and Engineering Company. You will become part of the Engineering Team and will interact in various Engineering functions with our Engineers, Test Technicians, and Support Staff.

Main Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of duties to support vehicle testing activities (test creation, hardware review, test execution, data review, test report support)

• Assist with tracking test metrics and test data archiving

• Analyze test results and provide engineering reports that meet Customer specifications

• Use a Windows based computer system to access information, enter measurement data, store, and retrieve files from the network, etc.

• Assists with a variety of special projects as needed

• Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment

• All other related duties as assigned

• Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job

Qualifications:

• Officially enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Degree program in Mechanical, Software or Electrical Engineering, or related field

• High School Diploma

• Ability to identify new and unique ideas to make connections among previously unrelated notions; to participate in brainstorming sessions

• Ability to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably

• Ability to practice active listening and to hear and people out even if there is a different opinion

• Ability to practice active listening to learn new skills within the industry, company, product or technical knowledge

• Strong Microsoft Office skills

• Ability to use a computer

Physical Requirements:

• This position is located in an office and involves sedentary work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

• Ability to speak verbally, and read in English

• Ability to see with corrective lenses

• Ability to hear

• Ability to walk

• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically

Hazards:

• Normal hazards related to working in an office environment, manufacturing, and testing environment

• Normal hazards related to road and air travel
