Job Summary

Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriate areas. Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper for protection during painting and post appropriate paint signs.

Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Move up and down a ladder. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

The Engineer II for the Engineering and Asset Management Department will be responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe and efficient operation of utility scale solar facilities and other renewable technologies owned by CED. The Engineer will have experience in renewable technologies (i.e. solar, wind and battery storage), equipment selection, identification of problems utilizing predictive methods, resolving operational problems, bid preparation and evaluation, contractor selection, general utility operations and maintenance practices, procedure writing, creation of reports utilizing project historians including Pi, as well as having a good understanding of utility distribution and transmission systems. The Engineer is expected to be well versed in power engineering and have practical hands on experience with a proven track record in the energy industry. Responsibilities * Ensure that CED assets are operating at their design point, generating energy, renewable energy credits and other products in order to meet CED financial objectives. Support the efforts of Asset Managers and Developers to ensure CED selects the best technologies and builds reliable and efficient projects. * Review facility operating data and resolve problems that are affecting facility output. Track causes and implement corrective actions. Implement predictive maintenance technologies to ensure high facility availability. Assist O&M and Plant Managers in resolving technical issues with facilities. Write procedures and establish maintenance plans. * Maintain plant SCADA, DAS, and communications systems, ensuring power plants continue to operate reliably safely and efficiently. Create and ensure consistency across NERC-registered facilities (i.e. equipment/software, alarming, controls, voltage monitoring, Pi, SCADA). Perform site visits as necessary to achieve company objectives. * Establish working knowledge of various equipment suppliers' technologies. Stay informed of technical developments, industry codes and regulatory requirements, which have an engineering impact. * Prepare reports to management; manage administrative tasks. * Assess and validate operational data to enhance facility performance. Work independently to create an effective predictive and planned maintenance program to ensure facilities operate reliably. Apply technology enhancements to optimize facility output. * Perform site visits as necessary to achieve CED objectives.
