Engineered Wood Products Designer Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced EWP Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing engineered wood products such as trusses, beams, and panels, and will play a crucial role in creating accurate and efficient designs that meet project specifications and requirements.

Engineered Wood Products Designer Responsibilities:

• Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create detailed drawings and layouts for engineered wood products.

• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of the designs.

• Generate material lists and specifications for manufacturing and construction purposes.

• Review and revise designs based on feedback and changes in project scope.

• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to engineered wood products and construction practices.

Engineered Wood Products Designer Requirements:

• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.

• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with project management and coordination is a plus.

• Must pass required company drug screens as part of drug-free workplace.
