Responsibilities

  • Understands the company's vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.

  • Provides technical assistance and troubleshooting to customers regarding engineered lumber products. Provides product selection, product information, answers inventory and pricing questions.

  • Responsible for account planning, key account focus, demand forecasting, and sales of focus inventory items.

  • Prepares calculations / yield projections and customer presentations of a technical nature to gain new business.

  • Generate, improve and maintain technical service tools, models, presentations, and comparisons.

  • Meets plan productivity schedule and remains current on technical trends in market segments.

  • Communicates with logistics team on customer service issues.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of multi-unit / multi-family construction and light-commercial construction methods, structure and wood frame construction.

  • Understanding of "load flow" through a house from the roof ridge to the foundation.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of load development and load flow tracking.

  • Must be able to determine the magnitude of loads.

  • Understanding of wood frame construction, blueprint analysis, numerical analysis, CADD software.

  • Business knowledge, product knowledge, consultative selling skills (questioning, probing, listening), organizational and planning skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools/technology.

  • Years of experience: 2-5+ years experience preferred with BS / BA

Job Description: At Regions, the Credit Products Commercial Portfolio Manager I is a client-facing role and responsible for independently leading all aspects of the entire commercial credit process both internally and externally with prospects and clients. The Portfolio Manager I partners closely with Regions relationship managers to execute on the Bank's commercial loan origination strategy by working directly with Regions prospects, clients, and centers of influence to develop optimal financing structures to address borrowing needs. Primary Responsibilities * Executes on the Bank's commercial loan origination strategy by working directly with Regions prospects, clients, and centers of influence to develop optimal financing structures to address borrowing needs. * Underwrites, structures, and documents prospect and client transactions above a designated threshold, generally the most complex and largest of client relationships and circumstances * Manages the assigned portfolio by monitoring performance and trends, proactively defining client credit solutions, identifying issues and developing remediation, underwriting and approving credit as designated * Ensures all credit process metrics are within prescribed tolerances * Accountable for the risk evaluation and associated compliance requirements as defined in respective roles and responsibility matrix for AML, CRA/HMDA, Reg B, and other regulatory/compliance requirements within assigned portfolio and for prospects * Approves interim new money requests for relationships managed up to a defined limit This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible.
