Job Summary

Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.

Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.

Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift change.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Speak with others using clear and professional language. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.

Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

You will learn and troubleshoot the Turbonomic product suite for our customers, differentiating environmental and configuration related issues from product defects, and understanding how to manage complex virtualized infrastructure based on this unique and innovative technology. Responsibilities: * Investigate and help resolve issues on customer's infrastructure using agreed troubleshooting methodologies * Manage support cases to enable fast resolution that exceeds our customers' expectations * Ensuring accurate recording of all cases using the Company's ticket management tool and closing within agreed timeframe What you bring: * 4+ years of experience in Technical Support * Working knowledge of (Command Line) Linux systems * Working knowledge of Virtualization technologies (VMWare/Hyper-V) * Working knowledge of Cloud Technologies (AWS/Azure) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proven experience in incident management, service request management, and problem solving * Experience of using ticketing systems and use of monitoring and management tools * Excellent customer-facing written and verbal communication skills * Understanding of object-oriented architecture and model driven architectures * Experience working with complex multi-threaded applications * BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent BONUS Points if you have any of these: * (1) RHEL experience * (2) Bilingual in English/Spanish * (3) Container Experience * (4) Shell Scripting (PERL/Shell) About Turbonomic: Turbonomic helps thousands of enterprise organizations assure application performance by using our patented platform to make sure application workloads get precisely the right resources needed to ensure performance and eliminate overspending while maintaining policy compliance.
